Me: I'm sorry I lost my patience with you this morning when you were putting your shoes on.
Tye: It's ok mom.
Me: Remember being more patient is one of my Goals for the New year?
Tye: Yeah.
Me: I really need to work harder on this.
Tye: Yeah mom, YOU REALLY DO!!!! (walks out of room)
Me: speechless
