Get off the Road

This girl is finally legal to drive!

I hate to admit this but I'm afraid for my safety when I'm in the car with her.  

I love her to death but driving with her just does something to me.

Thanks goodness she has a year before we let her off on her own!!

Either way, she's real cute!!

I was blessed when she came to the earth.

Boston Marathon Bound

I feel so blessed to have a body that can run 26.2 miles.
Boston Marathon was amazing!!

If I were to recommend one Marathon for your lifetime, it's Boston.

I could talk for hours about my experience.

I never imagined in my wildest dreams that running a marathon could be so fun!

If you're questioning whether or not it's worth it....GO FOR IT!

You won't regret it, not even for one second.
 

Donut Falls

If you haven't made the effort to check out Donut Falls, go today!  It was the easiest hike, minimal elevation climb.  The scenery is fantastic all the way up.  The end viewing is candy to your eyes, not kidding!! 
 

Once you arrive at the end, there is a wall of rocks just like this picture is showing you!!  We weren't sure how to get to the top without getting in the water.  When we went the trail had signs posted all over about not getting into the water.  My advice to you is don't pay attention to the signs.  If you try to maneuver around the rocks and stay out of the water, you will feel like your life is in danger!  I'm not kidding about that either.  Just head straight up the wall of rocks and be prepared to get your shoes a little wet.  Once we made that decision, the climb was fun, enjoyable and no chance of death! 
These pictures don't do the falls justice.  I am constantly amazed by God's creations.  We are so blessed to have such beauty in our backyard. 

Is this real?

So it has been a long summer of soccer and golf but I finally have the pleasure of announcing that they both made their High School Soccer and Golf teams!!  It's been a long time coming and I'm so glad it's over!  I couldn't be more proud of them.  They worked their guts off to do it.   

Hard work pays off!!
